Champion Shave Readying For ICO Launch

Cryptocurrency is getting more commonplace as firms scramble for a piece of the ever-growing pie. A recent press release indicates that Champion Shave will launch its Pre-ICO at the end of October. The company has long term plans of launching its own cryptocurrency.

Particularly, proceeds from the initial coin offering (ICO) will enable the company to implement blockchain-based solutions for its supply chain. Further, Champion Shave intends to utilize blockchain in managing customer data as well as facilitating corporate expansion.

Star-studded Backing

According to a statement on their website, Champion Shave is a major player in the men’s grooming industry. The company produces shaving razors that serve customers globally. Recently, the company patented a disposable razor blade that is 100% recyclable. Therefore, blockchain will greatly help towards managing services in the lucrative men’s grooming industry.

Interestingly, the firm has the backing of celebrities in the sports arena, from soccer to the track. They include Ronaldinho Gaucho, a former soccer star and 100-meters sprint record holder Usain Bolt. At the center of the company’s mission is to provide the best products that are eco-friendly and ergonomic.

The ICO will help drive the company’s global strategy by providing the much-needed funds. Also, the company’s cryptocurrency will facilitate smooth movement of products along the supply chain. Dubbed Champion Coin, the cryptocurrency will enable stakeholders to transact over Champion Shave’s e-commerce platform with zero franchise fees.

Champion Shave Will Launch ICO to Facilitate Product Integrity

Further, the new platform will take advantage of the inherent properties of blockchain that eliminate middlemen’s costs. Particularly, a blockchain network operates through a peer-to-peer mechanism where users directly contact each other. As a result, there is optimum utility alongside cheap transactions, Crypto News Review observes.

Champion Shave’s CEO, Manny Bains, clarifies that blockchain will facilitate product integrity along the supply chain. Specifically, it will “enable Champion Shave to track every detail of their supply chain end-to-end.

Further, Bains adds that “the technology will increase efficiency by providing an open, immutable, global, online ledger for tracking freight movement.

Champion Shave will launch a Pre-ICO event late this month. The project has the backing of former star athletes, Akshay Kumar and David Trezeguet, to just name a few. In November, Trezeguet will represent the company at the Malta Blockchain Summit. Therefore, Champion Shave will launch their Pre-ICO in time for the Summit which will present great opportunity to potentially engage other stakeholders.
