Crypto Finally parodies the Friday song to attract youth audience to cryptospace.

“Friday” is one of the most popular songs of an American YouTuber, Rebecca Black, with over 127 million views mostly garnered from the youth audience. More than a week back on November 17, “Crypto Finally” YouTube channel published a Bitcoin-centered parody of the mega-popular Friday.

Promoting the Crypto Trading Platform BitPay

The song, dubbed “BitPay – Black Friday Bitcoin Song,” aims to promote the Bitcoin-focused cryptocurrency trading platform BitPay. The video so far has gotten over twelve thousand views.

The video infuses light humor towards the adoption of Bitcoin (BTC) and the overall cryptocurrency space. In particular, the song targets youth while calling those who are yet to adopt cryptocoins as old-fashioned.

BitPay expressed their gratitude saying that they were happy to see their name in a cryptocurrency awareness campaign. They also thanked Crypto Finally for using the BitPay card to purchase goods and services. BitPay has also promised a surprise gift to Crypto Finally for the video. However, note that BitPay and Crypto Finally have not engaged in official association before the video launched.

Growing Awareness for Digital Currencies Among Youth

There’s no doubt that cryptocurrencies have managed to strike an appeal with the millennial generation. The fact that cryptocurrencies operate in a decentralized manner without a central authority appeals to its investors the most. Moreover, it gives investors an absolute freedom to manage their finances.

Another value proposition of digital currencies is to perform instant cross-border transactions at a low cost. The happens through the underpinning blockchain technology.

Despite the continuously falling cryptocurrency prices, they still continue to garner goodwill among the youth. A recently conducted survey by Deidre Campbell shows that youth still believes in the future of cryptocurrencies. The survey shows that 55% of millennials have either bought cryptocurrencies or are looking to buy.

Also, Piper Jaffray investment bank recently published a report saying cryptocurrencies are the most desirable gift among teenagers for the upcoming Christmas season. The report notes that cryptocurrencies beat all the traditional favorites like gift coupons, cash, and video games.

It looks like last year’s dramatic bull run in the cryptocurrency market still has its footprint on youngsters’ minds.
