OKEx, a Malta-based cryptocurrency exchange, has added another feather to its cap. Indeed, OKEx came out on top at the premier edition of the annual Malta Blockchain Awards. At the event, it bagged the Crypto Exchange of the Year. In detail, a 32-man panelists chose the exchange after assessing its progress and impact. With regard to the makeup of the panel, it consists of top-tier executives and captains in the blockchain industry. At the Malta Blockchain Summit 2018, the organizers said that cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Bitbay were top contenders.

In appreciation, the Head of Operations at the award-winning exchange, Andy Cheung, released a statement on behalf of the company. Cheung noted that the award is gratifying as it sends a strong message that the industry leaders have confidence in the exchange. The OKEx’s Operations Head affirmed that OKEx is daring to walk on the path of innovation and would always spearhead the cause to push “the limits of what is possible.”

In conclusion, Cheung assured that improving the cryptocurrency ecosystem is not only a promise but a responsibility.
